preparing for release

Local intelligence

  • Natural-language library questions with an answer and filters to review before applying.
  • Local Vision tag suggestions and translation into the interface language.
  • Apple Intelligence refines suggestions, proposes clearer filenames, and detects filename patterns on compatible Macs running macOS 26+.
  • The built-in guide reports the current availability of every AI feature on this Mac.

Images and similarity

  • 4×4 contact sheets with clearer frames selected locally by Vision on macOS 15+.
  • Search for visually similar footage and likely duplicates.
  • A Similar to Favorites scope and manual rejection of incorrect matches.
  • Optional tile cropping to the most interesting part of a contact sheet.

Library organization

  • Library Health finds missing or stale sheets, untagged movies, ghost entries, and duplicate candidates.
  • New scopes for Untagged, Missing Thumbnails, and Recently Changed footage.
  • Move a movie and its related contact sheets to another folder inside the library.
  • Sort by name, date, size, tag count, or a stable random order.

Control and privacy

  • Image analysis, translation, and supported Apple Intelligence features run on-device.
  • Tag, filename, pattern, and filter suggestions are never applied automatically.
  • App Sandbox limits access to user-selected folders, and filename conflicts never overwrite existing files.
  • English and Polish interface on macOS 14+, with no accounts, advertising, analytics, or cloud library upload.
